For big parties, corporate events, and conventions, henna is always a crowd pleaser. Our artists will only need a table, chairs, sufficient lighting, and cover from the sun or weather. We bring a cloth and a bit of decor, as well as everthing else we'll need to make your guests completely happy.
The artists will bring design booklets for the customers to look through, which we cater for each individual event, based on the number and ages of participants. Although they do not have to choose from the designs provided in the books, it can help give them an idea of what we are able to draw in henna, and give them a jumping off point for ideas. We focus on making sure that everyone who wants a design is able to get one.
We can dress in Middle Eastern, Indian, or plain clothing, depending on your preference and the event type.
BOOKING AN EVENT
Please email Elizebeth at e@CrimsonArt.com at least a month in advance to book your henna event. Include the date, type of event, your phone number, and any other helpful information. She will return your email or call you as soon as possible. A contract can be made at that time which outlines the expectations of the host and the artist, including event time, location, number of artists requested, type and theme of event, anticipated number of guests, number of hours the artist is expected to work, and fees to be paid.
The cost is $90 an hour for one artist, with a two hour minimum. Each additional artist is $60 an hour. In most cases, we will bring an assistant to help with crowd control and to answer customers' questions, at no expense. Travel expenses at the current standard rate will also apply if the event is more than 60 miles from the artist’s location.
THE SMALL PRINT
For most events, a $50 deposit is required to secure the artist(s) for the date requested. This deposit can be refunded up to 2 weeks before the event. Please note that 50% of the agreed upon amount is due if the artist’s services are canceled less than 24 hours before the event. The remaining balance is due at the time of set up on-site. Acceptable means of payment include check, money order, cash and credit card. Our main location is in Athens, Georgia, but we will happily travel for events if mileage money and lodging (if necessary) are provided.
